Tanda Luxe is a product you use at home.  In the past, to receive the benefits of therapeutic light treatments, you had to visit a med spa or dermatologist.

We can now offer FDA approved treatments for personal use at home, that are affordable, safe and effective.

Tanda is leading the way with the Red Light “Luxe” and the Blue Light “Clear+” interchangeable head. (They also offer a smaller blue light device, called the Zap, that is great for acne)

The Luxe includes a Red light treatment head for skin rejuvenation.  There is also a Blue light treatment head for fighting acne.

Red Light treatments are performed two times per week.  The hand held device runs for 3 minute intervals.  Applied to the cheek area, Luxe has been shown to lessen wrinkles around the eyes (crow’s feet), improve skin texture, and visibly firms the skin.  A full face treatment at home - a ”photofacial” – consists of 3 to 4 intervals of 3 minutes each (9-12 minutes total, may be done continuously for 12 minutes) applied to the full face.  I have found these treatments to be easily performed while watching TV and especially during commercial breaks!

The hand held unit is cordless, and has an internal re-chargeable battery.  Simply place the unit in the recharger once or twice per week.  The triangular treatment head is a generous size that comfortably glides over clean facial skin.

When applied around the eye area, you may feel more comfortable with your eyes closed.  The device comes with eye protectors, but their use is purely optional.

If you have a light sensitive condition such as lupus, this device is not recommended.  It will also not treat skin cancer.  If you are on medications that cause light (“sun”) sensitivity then you should not use blue or red light (such as Tetracycline, Minocin and to a lesser degree Sulpha antibiotics).

The Tanda Luxe with Red head, and recharging base is very affordable at only $199.  It will provide 6,000 treatments of 3 minutes each.

The Blue treatment head is sold spearately for $75 and will also last 6,000 treatments.  For acne – Blue light is best applied to red inflamed areas for 3 minute treatments, and repeated twice daily, as needed.
