 JUVEDERM™ Injectable gel is used to soften the folds around the mouth and chin, as well as enhancing the lips and cheeks.

NEW in March 2010 – Juvederm Ultra XC! – this new formulation contains lidocaine within the filler – the result is at least a 50% reduction in the pain from the procedure.  No need for painful dental blocks!  $500 per vial.

 As with all filler services, some bruising and swelling is typical after injection.  Bruising varies greatly between individuals, and can be minimized by stopping over the counter “blood thinners” a week prior to the service (such as Ibuprofen, Motrin, Advil, Aleve, Naproxen, ASA, Bayer Aspirin, Fish Oil, Omega 3 Fatty Acids, Vitamin E – if unsure if it is safe to stop any medication, check with your doctor first).  Tylenol does not increase the risk of bruising.
